5 Myths of Health Care Reform

This article, by Bob Laszewski has hit the nail on the head. Health information technology, prevention, outcomes research, pay-for-performance and universal coverage are indeed myths.

Unfortunately, they will all be part of 2009 Health Care Reform.

Reminds me of:  Managed competition, capitation, utilization review, HMO/PPO/IDS/HPO, and provider networks.  5 “cure” myths that have come before.

As Yogi said, “the more things change, the more they stay the same”.
