LBP- You got drugs, you got surgery, or you got us...revisited

The mainstream media is finally getting it.  NBC's Nightly News reports that low back pain results in $90 BILLLION dollars annually and that approximately one million Americans a year will undergo back surgery at a cost of $60,000 each.   They also note that Physical Therapy should be a treatment of first choice.  This is encouraging but the report still leaves out a large part of the equation, particularly when it comes to risks and side effects.  I would encourage you to visit the following YouTube video designed by some industrious Regis University students for the rest of the story.   We stand at the crossroad in healthcare reform and we are the solution to the $90 Billion disaster.

Be the change,

Tim
