Clinical Consult
I have a friend in Miami that has a history of laminectomy/laminotomy (unsure which one) at L5-S1 from the 90's. She woke up last week and had pain in B (Lt>Rt) legs and low back with weakness. She wants to try to avoid a second surgery. She has been basically pain free from 1st surgery until last week - just mild intermittent symptoms. MRI findings show degenerative changes with broad base herniation at L4-5 with some compression and stenosis and S1 nerve root impingement on the Rt.
Any suggestions on a good PT in Miami? Any suggestions on a good surgeon in the Miami area?
Thanks
Deydre

I just finished my first clincical affiliation in Hollywood, FL (15 miles north of downtown Miami). I worked at a great facility and had a wonderful CI. Email me to get more info.
