In light of our recent Combined Sections Meeting and Larry's post about his pride in being involved in APTA (which he shares with all of us, no doubt), I thought I would post this.

For all the exciting directions that meetings point toward, it's important to realize that our profession's evolution involves not just forward movement, but upward movement into new directions and horizons. Think of how far we've come in such a short time! Even my short career (9 years as of 2006) has seen a tremendous evolution in our profession and in the skill and effectiveness of the care provided to our patients. Here's to our future...
